Transporting Firearms
For a firearm to be legally transported by way of motor vehicle, ATV, snowmobile or aircraft, it must be unloaded. Firearms that are transported in any vehicle must be unloaded, with the action open and enclosed in a protective case at all times. This is the safest way to transport any firearm.
A firearm may only be loaded in a place where it is lawful to discharge it. It is strongly recommended that a firearm is kept unloaded until you are ready to fire.
